11 Feb 2007, 04:58lovin' the hair froth. I had long hair once, did the whole goth scene, went all out etc. Unfortunately, you just can't be yourself without being pointed at in some places, so I stay low, jeans and un-branded t-shirts 4tw.

11 Feb 2007, 05:05you'd get shot around here for wearing anything that is slightly discriminating to anybody. Lots of mixed races/trends/cultures etc. here.
But if you look like you listen to heavy metal, and you're walking alone (or with a couple of other friends), you're more likely to get mugged and stabbed by a group of 16 scallies.
I remember walking home and being jumped in broad daylight. Fortunately i'm a tough cookie and put up a good enough fight to only get slashed with glass on the shoulder (Only because he missed my head).
