Yeah - but if you program it weird it can be slow.

... Simple answer, yes, it can be done - no challenge really.

EDIT:
LOL, I rule... Both my pictures original by me - except the monitor which I nicked from Microsoft and I claim full rights to it anyways  .

Is the signature pic a ripoff of Resident Evil or something? Looks like the Umbrella Corporations symbol to me.

Yeah, I made the sig originally for [blatent website advertisment]umbrella-inc.com[/BWA] and I couldn't think of a background. Since I hade made the umbrella logo I decided it would be best.

Oh, I also like the fact someone knows resident evil apart from me in this little community - YAY -.

eh, the director's cut one scared the crap out of me when I first played it, but I found all the sequels to be dull, except the remake for NGC, that seemed really um, "hip" and "with it".

Hey - like the sig Ste... Did you just used something simple to draw out a rough line and do some stuff to change the colour and "glow" effect.

I take it from your "it can be done" that you did it... Any info on that?

im actually using photoshop to do it. i have a plug-in which does it automatically, but there is an easy way to do it too. if you have it just follow these instrutions....

Press D to put the pallette back to black and white

goto fliter -- render -- clouds
goto filter -- render -- Difference clouds
press Ctrl + I. the picture should now be bright and you should start to see the lightning appear.

Goto Image -- Adjustments -- Levels -- put the middle arrow all the way to the left
Goto Image -- Adjustments -- Hue & Saturation, and choose the colour of the lightning.

Your new one is awesome i'd love to know how u did that

I used Flash to do it. I found that you can select a picture, delete it and use the shape tool to draw out the picture again - but in the respective places. So you get this window-like effect.

You could also do it by putting squares over the picture and deleting the area's outside the boxes too ;)

Then I just put writing on it... The "© Computer Whizz" is done using a mask. That's about it really!

Using pre-rendered boxes and solar/lens flares is going to always make that suck. The text and "spider" aren't at the proper angle as well as have no depth.
