Imagine a series of eBooks that is interactive fiction. Rather than have each book have a separate plot each book continues off where the last one ended with a special code at the end to continue off where you left off.

Here is a link to try out a little demo of what I have so far. It's a PDF so you might need to install a PDF reader to view it, not sure. Click on the bold text to make choices. Sometimes it doesn't load so you have to move the mouse a little in order for the page to load after making a choice.
I think on a Kindle the text will be underlined in an ePUB format.

The links only work in a PDF reader for some reason... I just tried it in FireFox and for some reason the links don't work when clicking on them so you'll have to download the file and install Adobe Acrobat:

Don't be surprised if feedback on this is lacking, lightwriter. Most people - including me, I have to admit - won't be prepared to go to such lengths to try your demo - especially in that you admit it's already glitchy.

It's not really buggy, it's just that the built in PDF reader for FireFox doesn't support links in PDF documents...
