15 Mar 2014, 10:44Hey all,
I recently found a text adventure called Micropuzzle, it comes from a book called Weird Computer Games written by Jenny Tyler and Chris Oxlade, published by Usborne. Here's the link the to the pdf (Micropuzzle is page 12):
ftp://ftp.worldofspectrum.org/pub/sinclair/books/WeirdComputerGames.pdf
And i've been really struggling to beat this game! If anyone is interested , could they please give it a try and make a walkthrough? Time is of the essence!
Here's a dropbox link to the files (which contains a c64 emulator to run the game if you dont have one already, and the tape image for the game) https://www.dropbox.com/sh/u8iisyax7h8rtow/v8iPt69WdP
Oh and if you want to know what commands you have and items there are to interact with, go to page 16 of the pdf and look at lines 1800-1870!
What i've got so far:
Initial map layout i made:

You can tie the thread to the tree. That's as far as i've got!
Best of luck, and post-haste, i'll be checking this thread frequently!

Unfortunately, I think Micropuzzle was the only game I never typed in so I can't help you, but thanks for reminding me of a classic book.

Anyone have a go at this? I found out you can climb the thread once it is on the tree.
