Review some games!
Alex
13 Jun 2013, 20:49124 games on the site have no reviews at all - are there any lost gems in there?
Please help us by playing and reviewing these games, and let's see if we can get that number down to zero!
This new page lists all unreviewed games... http://textadventures.co.uk/games/unreviewed
So if you're looking for something to play, please try one of these "lost" games and post a review!

I managed to get them down from about 127 to just above 90 but they've started to rise again. In the main they're bad, I guess people don't like to give bad reviews. You'll play a few bad ones and then an ok one will come along that you then over rate as it's just so much better (even just a better concept) than the rest of them. Like losing a fiver then finding five pence. On the flip side I probably didn't have much patience for ones that I could have perservered with. I tried not to be too harsh but it's hard when virtually zero effort has been put into something.

05 Aug 2013, 18:18Thanks for your efforts. I think we should encourage bad (but constructive) reviews - it's the only way authors will know to try harder.

05 Aug 2013, 20:08I agree. I'll try and be more constructive than scathing in future.
I suppose I reviewed them from a 'should the audience play this' pov rather than a 'how can I encourage the author' pov. Perhaps I can delicately do both.
