Playtesters Needed

16 Apr 2013, 22:28Hello All!
This is a call to arms for a small group of playtesters for a Quest game currently under development. I'm looking for somewhere between 4 - 6 people so that we can get some usability feedback on the user interface being developed. If you're interested, please reply on this thread or PM me with your reason for why you'd like to be a playtester and once I've got the people I need I'll close this thread.
There is a couple of conditions to being a playtester for this game. First, you can't discuss the game with anyone except the developers (myself and Jay Nabonne). Second, you can't share the link to the online test with anyone. We're not quite ready to go public with the information of the game and depending on how much time I have, I might have some NDA's drafted up to be signed before the link is sent out to the testers.
Don't let that discourage you though, it's just to protect us and the project until things are ready to be revealed! I look forward to working with a few of you in the near future!

19 Apr 2013, 09:12I am interested, too. Even if I don't know what you mean with NDA

19 Apr 2013, 12:45(Pertex) I think it's a Non Disclosure Agreement. It's about the only thing I am sure of on Quest. It's all hush hush no what I mean. A nods as good as a wink to a blind horse. lol (Taken from Monty Pythen Sketch) years ago.
(Sgreig) Count me in if you wish, it would be interesting to see how other authors minds work and their styles of choice. (WITHOUT PINCHING IDEAS!). Terry.

20 Apr 2013, 02:50Yeah, that's what it means. It's a contract that states you can't discuss any details about something. I think an NDA might be a little overkill though, so I don't think i'll bother. I will be PMing you guys shortly.
UPDATE: I'll hold off on PMing you guys with the info until tomorrow evening or so. I just remembered Alex is changing over to the new site tomorrow so the game wouldn't be accessible anyway.

05 May 2013, 14:33Hey all.. I'm posting this update here because the forum doesn't seem to have a way to specify multiple recipients for a PM and I didn't feel like doing a bunch of copy/pasting. There's been a bit of a hiccup as it would appear the current "stable" version of the game is broken with the new web player. We're trying to figure it out, and I'll have links sent out as soon as we get it working again. Thanks for your patience.
